Bed size

Ok where should I ask, I took away the # in front of the 400 in print config and put it in front of the 300 and yet the z tilt still acts like its a 300 , what did I not do ?

Go carefully through the entire printer.cfg file and make sure everything is set for a 400 and your hardware

Post your printer.cfg here
blacksmithforlife
Did you save after making the changes and then restarted klipper?

@heisenberg19x
Silver Raider US
Yeah and did again one final time before posting config above
blacksmithforlife
Yeah that printer.cfg looks fine. Have you rebooted the pi just to make sure everything is fresh?
Silver Raider US
I turned it off through ratos then unplugged for a minute then turned back on unless there is another way
blacksmithforlife
Yeah that should have reloaded it all. Weird

This is killing me , everything is working great except for this
blacksmithforlife
Can you post a video of it acting like a 300?
Silver Raider US
This is the z tilt, it only goes so far on the bed and just jeeps repeating until I hit emergency stop because it can't level
blacksmithforlife
Those aren't even the right points for a 300... It should be front left, rear middle, front right.
Silver Raider US
Yeah I have no idea
blacksmithforlife
Since it keeps moving diagonally maybe one of the motor connections isn't tight and is slipping? Did you check the grub screws on the stepper motor pulleys?
Silver Raider US
I will double check All tight and moving with the belt
blacksmithforlife
If you use the mainsail interface does it move the hotend correctly? Test moving just x and y in both positive and negative And measure to make sure it moves the correct amount
Silver Raider US
Bingo, one of them must not be wired up or some thing , it purely moves in a diagonal
blacksmithforlife
Is one of them not moving? Or the belt is stuck on one of them?
Silver Raider US
the belt is not stuck one of the plugs was loose still waiting on some JST connectors to switch them out. It was the left motor not plugged in. but now with it plugged in it made a grinding sound like they were working opposite of each other
blacksmithforlife
Well, at least you found the problem. Now to check the wiring is correct and all the connections
Silver Raider US
thats stumping me as well it looks right but will go through again @blacksmithforlife TMC 'stepper_x' reports error: DRV_STATUS: 40130010 s2vsa=1(LowSideShort_A!) cs_actual=19 stealth=1 Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdown Left is when I am looking at the front of the printer correct ? Not looking from the back
blacksmithforlife
Correct

@blacksmithforlife sorry to bug yeah again, so I got the wiring kit from ratrig for the machine so I was assuming they wired it correctly. This is how they look going into the motor. Now looking at their wiring diagram it looks like the slots on both sides are empty as opposed to how they have theirs . was wondering how you wired yours ?
Silver Raider US
They have a wire then empty 2 wires then empty then wire
blacksmithforlife
I completely self sourced and got my steppers from LDO. LDO provided wiring with JST on both sides so I just kept them the same Huh, that doesn't seem right But I'm not near my printer to check
Silver Raider US
Ok if you happen to remember when you are near it maybe see , I have a feeling I wont be getting to much further tonight So the wiring was not it @blacksmithforlife so switched the wires to what the diagram looked like nothing happened so switched them back the way they were now everything is working , thank you for your time and happy holidays !!😁
blacksmithforlife
Glad to hear you got it working! Hopefully those proper jst connectors come soon. Happy holidays!
