libspdlog.so.1 cannot open shared object file.

I can't get Death Stranding to run so I went to check the logs and this message is at the bottom:

env: error while loading shared libraries: libspdlog.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I use Arch Linux and I have the spdlog package installed so the library is in my system but I have no idea why it can't find it.

What version of spdlog you have installed? It ecpecte version 1.x

Also maybe you need to install 32bit version aswell

I have version 1.11.0-1 and I don't think there is a 32 bit version on arch

I have no idea why or how but now it works

I didn't touch anything but now it runs and I don't get the error

I added death stranding as a non steam game and it launched so I tried to run it again from heroic and now it works

Because steam provides some libs. So they provide the correct lib the game needs.

You can toggle to use the steam runtime to run the game without starting from steam but still using there runtime.
