I am not sure this is a Heroic issue, but a DosBox forum disavows that it is their problem, >> https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=93932&p=1159649#p1159649
So far all I have is crickets on the GOG forum >> https://www.gog.com/forum/master_of_orion_series/game_wont_launchdosbox_seems_corrupt
I purchased an Acer Chromebook Vero 514 - CBV514-1H-55VP
Activated LINUX Debian Buster 10
I have managed to do a Flatpac install of the 2.7.0 Heroic Games Launcher and it seems to work since I was able to log into both my Epic and Gog accounts.
I seem to have been able to download Master of Orion II From GOG since all the files are in my games folder.
But, the game will not launch.
As I read the report, I didn't get a complete DOSBox with the download??
Looks like I need libcaca.so.0:
If it is available, can I simply paste it into the file /home/daviwaynedisney/Games/Heroic/Master of Orion 2/dosbox/dosbox_x86_64 ?
