And DC - is on the bottom of the list as least prefered. It is just not on par with BLDC. Building FFB joystick in 2023 on DC motor is just waste of time and money. Just collect a little bit and buy cheapest option from @walmis if you want simplicity. It will be just night and day comparing to DC variant. And yep. There is no ready made firmware/software part available to be used "as is" to build FFB joystick on DC motors. You will need to write your firmware combining parts from different projects.
