I like sandboxels because it is free, I can mod it (which is fun), and the community is small enough to feel very connected.

Yeah there could be a thunder cloud element that has a small chance to turn into a lightning element, which chooses a random pixel with a bias torward higher and more conductive pixels, and traces a random line to that pixel, where it then explodes
