Yeah there could be a thunder cloud element that has a small chance to turn into a lightning element, which chooses a random pixel with a bias torward higher and more conductive pixels, and traces a random line to that pixel, where it then explodes

All things considered, the eradication of the cancer via fire and bombs went pretty well. I'm going to have to kill those cells though, dirty water can cause cancer if it evaporates.
