MCU 'mcu' shutdown ADC out of range - first startup

"MCU 'mcu' shutdown: ADC out of range This generally occurs when a heater temperature exceeds its configured min_temp or max_temp. Once the underlying issue is corrected, use the "FIRMWARE_RESTART" command to reset the firmware, reload the config, and restart the host software. Printer is shutdown" Fresh build, fresh installs. When I turn on the printer and head to ratos.local the error above is what I get in mainsail. Am I right in assuming that this is likely a thermistor wiring issue? Not sure if the USB cable would cause this, pretty sure its a good cable. I'm not sure where I would configure the min/max_temp either or if thats even something one would do.

Another note, part cooling fan was not spinning but is warm to the touch. Not sure if thats related or not

Correct.

Unrelated, but definitely not supposed to happen, i'd go over your wiring again. It's possible that your MCU's temp sensor isn't working, that happens sometimes. What board are you using?

Octopus 1.1. I unplugged and replugged all thermistor and fan connectors and the problem seems to have disappeared. Very strange indeed. Hopefully just a bad contact somewhere.

Probably just misplaced thermistor plugged, don't worry about it, if it fails again klipper will shut down to prevent damage.
