The start of print seems to miss the first few millimeters of extrusion

The first bit of extrusion after the purge seems to miss a few millimeters of extrusion. Currently I'm printing a skirt, which causes the issue to occur on the skirt rather than the print. Any idea what causes this? I'd eventually like to forgo the skirt.

Looks like it is pausing after the prime line. I found this happened to me if I didn't add M190 & M109 like the documentation says in my slicer start gcode. Once I added them that pause went away and my hotend stayed primed

@blacksmithforlife Is this the spot in the documentation you're referring to? https://os.ratrig.com/docs/slicers/#prusaslicer
Slicer Configuration | RatOS
RatOS comes with STARTPRINT and ENDPRINT macros that you can call directly from your slicers. This way the printer knows how to start a print, and you can there easily switch between slicers without worrying if you changed anything in another slicer.

It doesn't mention anything about M190 or M109 for SuperSlicer. Are you using PrusaSlicer?
blacksmithforlife
Yes, I have it in both prusaslicer and super slicer

Gotcha, thanks.

I forgot to take the right angle in the picture, but you can see with the skirt that the issue is resolved. Thanks! One more down, a handful more to go.
