Having trouble launching Fall Guys but every other game works?
This is unrelated to the EAC runtime, the EOS overlay, or a simple dxvk fix. I just freshly installed arch linux on my computer. After, just trying out manjaro and the issue persisted, and I wanted to run Fall Guys. I created a new prefix for it installed all the neccessities including dxvk, d3d compiliers, dotnet48, xinput, dinput, and all the others. I've tried multiple wines and wineprefixes, but none have worked. After every instance launched, the error that it comes up with is unlike any other I've encountered. I've also tried using the flatpak version and the beta versions available. I'm wondering if anyone with more experience can help me....

That prefix folder in the log is interesting
Also, you don’t need to manually install any of those dependencies you named in your post

I know, but I did so while troubleshooting just in case because I ran out of other fixes I could try to be honest.

Did you already install the wine dependencies?

I've tried multiple folders with and without but in this current log, yes I did.
Everything seems normal until Unhandled Exception

The called exe looks wrong too. Isn’t it supposed to be FallGuys_client_game.exe?
Try setting that as the alternative exe

Ok, that sounds interesting let me give it a go!
Oh...my....gosh...you are a genius thank you....it was able to launch and worked just fine. I didn't think I needed to do that since I edited the the FallGuys_client.ini file in the folder to set the target application path to launch it from FallGuys_client_game.exe BUT IT WORKS!!! Thanks!

Awesome
The exe that’s referenced in the log wouldn’t have called the ini. No idea why it didn’t do it right though
