Hell is Others not launching
Having an issue with this game not launching on my Steam Deck. In desktop mode it minimises Heroic for a bit but then it relaunches Heroic with no change. In Gaming mode it sits trying to load the game forever.
I also have really long load times for FFVII Remake but it does load eventually.
I've attached the log.

For me it worked just fine with: Wine-GE-Proton7-34 (you can install this with the Wine Manager option in heroic and then set it in the game's settings), and enabling DXVK and VKD3D (those options will show up once you select Wine-GE-Proton)
I haven't tested it on the deck though
This is 100% a Proton issue, Proton simply won't run anything other than .exe files (and this game's executable is a .bat file)
(Why does it do this? No idea)

Hmmm, now I'm getting stuck on connection in progress.
Try opening up a terminal & running
systemctl restart --user xdg-desktop-portal, then restarting the game

We are aware of a problem causing players to be stuck in the "connection in progress" after log-in.
You can try to fix it by verifying the game files on the Epic Games library!

Nothing, I think they were having server issues because it was the same day it went free on Epic.
