How quick is it to switch the vkb adapter back to the standard one, (tm/virpil) one
Pvirpil connection plug always stays on, you simply thread on the vkb adapter on top of it..
DHow long is the process? 5min or more?

Pseconds, yes
VThe larger issue is making sure you go slow and don't bend the pins, also the 3d printed threads might wear over time, need to be careful not to cross thread with the plastic on metal connections especially

DYeah, the threading is why I want metal thread, but walmis isnt planning on doing that

Pthe grip/extension is obviously male 
VYeah at least you don't have to worry about damaging the rhino, you might break the adapter or your grip though

VVkb has the best connector, unfortunately I only have winwing and TM grips, prefer the A10/F16 style

Svkb iis prone to damage by the pins as the connection may gouge if the grip wobbles
DI usually tighten down the grip firmly before using it, so that's never going to be an issue
Psorry m8 I crashed out last night. As other guys told you above it's a very easy & quick swap for the vkb adapter, also cause it's a by-pass through to the vkb blackbox I would imagine you can leave your vkb grip plugged into the BB still if you wish to go back to that grip possibly without needing to plug it back in? Also because you're swapping out the extension for the virpil one the vkb adapter can just remain attached to the vkb extension.

Ait's just like a TM connector, there's just no electronical connection involved
Ayou just set it in the position you want and screw it in until there is enough friction to hold it in place

YIt's basically that without the bolted in middle section. There is nothing on the bottom of the VKB adapter

FDoes anyone have the 3d files for the standard adaptor on Rhino? I need to 3d print an interface to my joystick and it needs to fit the inner pattern to prevent rotating

AAt what temps do the overheat protections kick in and what do they do?
WIt ramps down max current from 50degC IIRC
WIt's not sudden like in the brunner, but very gradual
Ais there a log or something you can examine afterwards, in VR monitoring things in real time is slightly cumbersome

JIs there somewhere a kind of an manual? I fiddle a lot with the settings, but I'm not completely sure how interact with each other. Would be nice to get a better understanding of the possibilities of the software. I watched this "beginners" YouTube, but like I said, still scratching my head.

Pnot sure what I've done wrong but during the f18 tutorials I'm not getting any ffb effects, I'm double clicking main.py in the telemetry app folder, I get a window that flashes up for a moment then closes, am I doing something wrong?

cmd, hit enter, then in that window type python main.py
