Can you please be more clear, Which element is going to have the hover? And which will need to change?

this so I'm assuming then you want to hover the parent and have the child styled? or a sibling?

this is why it's suggested to add code to your question, it's much easier for people to think and talk about your problem if they understand what it is, and just saying "how" isn't going to help do that. I'd suggest making a codepen, so that people can see what you mean exactly (also, I'm pretty sure that you need :has to affect the parent element based on the behavior of the child)

If you can't make an effort to describe your problem, no one can help. It's really entitled that you expect people to help you when you've made no effort at all on your end.
