Rocket league dont connect to epic games account.

Hello im new to linux and i downloaded heroic to play rocket league but when i install it it wont connect to my google account so its basically starting all over again and i cant play online to it asks me to connect to epic games account or something like that which i did please help me im desprate for help🙏🙏

Dont worry, it won't have wiped your progress, it may just not show on heroic. It will stick work if you launch it for Xbox. Not sure. So have you logged in? Also can you send a heroic log?

Ok so ill tell u full story, i tried heroic in the past and as i said it didnt work so i downloaded epic with lutris and im chilling in rocket league for now but my friend switched to linux today and he has no clue abt it so im helping him (hes in another country) we tried with lutris but didnt work so i made him download heroic now he linked his account and is downloading rocket league But im afraid it does not work when he opens it. How do i do that? Or at least tell my friend to do

Well dont be scared, it didn't remove your progress, perhaps it just didn't work when launching. Basically, it hasn't changed anything, it's just not opening right in heroic. There's nothing to be worried about It can't just delete your progress

Probably it launched rocket league offline or smth I need a heroic log and maybe a game log to help further though. However first wait for your friend to try, as it may just work as it does for me. Also you will have to do the tutorial again, as that is saved locally, nothing to be worried about there.

Tell your friend to click Wine Manager in Heroic, download Wine GE 7.37, go to settings page of the game and set game to run with it. Also make sure he did all those driver update stuff as well.

You guys shouldn't bother with Wine/Heroic versions etc; for gaming on Linux one needs a Vulkan compatible gpu. Both system of yours ( two Intel igpus, one Baytrail and other Ivybridge ) doesn't support Vulkan fully

7 it is for normal usage but it's better for gaming linux gaming requires hardware from 2015+ at least preferred is late 2016 AMD and nvidia is 2018 intel late 2016 is preferred as well this is hardware that's almost 7 years old at this point and on this hardware is where linux will shine more
