Why is the upload quality on my Tiktok uploads horrible?

I'm an education and personality content creator and I recently started taking content creation seriously. I'm seriously having issues with my upload quality specifically on Tiktok.
I have a 1080p 60fps webcam that is great quality and after editing my export quality is high and strong. I then take my video, put on google drive and download it on my phone is the google pixel 7 (i heard android uploads bad quality so I stopped that recently) or my ipad.
When I actually upload, the quality is terrible.
I want to upload on my PC but you can't create thumbnails so, I'm not sure if it's worth giving it a go etc.

one reason why is because in your tiktok's privacy settings you have data saver turned on which can lower the quality of the videos you upload

I've watched it on all the videos about improving quality but I still can't seem to solve the issue
try posting a video in 720p and see if the quality is just as bad, it may be the file size is too large and tiktok is downgrading it otherwise im not too sure

I will admit, I do upload my actual clips from my stream from 834p to 1080p but surprisingly those clips don't look bad to me, it's usually the clips I record from OBS etc.

Upload your videos with 1080p resoluton to avoid compression by tiktok

When you are editing you can tweak your sharpness, so that the quality lost is small after compression
That is true, I've tried those 'hdr' effects which didn't seem to work with me

This is an example of the videos I upload, they lose quality but remain to be this crisp
Cameras also play a big role and lighting, but lighting is the key

You will need to lights, A key light which is the bright one and then a small light for the background maybe try a different color
i haven't posted on tiktok in a while is there still a "allow high-quality uploads" or "upload hd" option?
I did this before in editing but not to that extent I feel they are more for edits than just regular clips like mine

if you have tried this, try another app called Meitu, it allows you to configure your video to a higher qualitty
