Heroic pulls whatever is recorded from the API. If you want to change it, use SteamGridDB either with SGDBoop or the Decky plug-in

that's the artwork we actually get from epic (in the Heroic library you see the
celeste logo but it's actually another image we put on top of that)
I'll see if I can make a single image out of the cover+logo, but I can't promise it's going to be a priority haha
I added an bug report here https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/issues/2463 but I recommend just changing that manually to something else for now if you want to, this requires changes in heroic otherwisefrozen-sapphire•3y ago

I understand it's to provide more flexibility and responsiveness, steam and gog can also have separate assets for the logos if I'm not mistaken

The logo in Steam is layered on the hero (ultrawide library image) and also used in the Deck’s system menu when you press the Steam button. The grid images are flattened

I will see if there is a way to also pass the logo to the grid image. I know that steam picks it if a logo is provided for the hero image
