Wrong artwork used for Kao The Kangaroo in Steam Launcher.
Heroic is adding Kao The Kangaroo as Kao Mystery of Volcano to the steam launcher. That means the artwork shown in steam is wrong. How can I fix this in Heroic so the correct artwork is used? I'd prefer not to manually fix it through steam

Once the Steam shortcut is written, Heroic isn’t changing it. The Steamgrid Decky plugin is good for this though

I guess couple questions, is it Heroic that's setting the icon/banner/portrait artwork when I tell it to add to steam? if so, how and where is it getting this artwork from? is it anything like emudeck's steam rom manager where it queries this from say steamgriddb.com?
just installed steamgrid plugin, was able to fix up the artwork using that.

Heroic is setting the image based on some Epic metadata. It actually doesn’t pull an appropriately sized wide capsule or hero image, so I just use the steamgrid stuff myself afterward
This is caused by the PCGamingWiki API returning the entry for
Kao the Kangaroo: Mystery of the Volcano when just searching for Kao the Kangaroo: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/w/api.php?action=query&list=search&srsearch=Kao%20the%20Kangaroo&format=json
Heroic searches for the game on PCGW to potentially get a Steam ID of your game, which usually features more appropriate artwork (proper logos, proper dimensions)
In case of this game, if we wouldn't be doing this, you'd just get a tiny (but accurate) icon next to the name in your game list, with no background & logo at all
