Ultima IV from GOG on Steam Deck
Hi. I'm a total noob with my new Steam Deck and new Heroic Games Launcher.
I read the "Read Me" about getting the log file, but I'm too ignorant to even know how to do that. I can find the log in the app, I can find the "copy log content to clipboard" button, but on a Steam Deck, I don't know what to do to actually get it somewhere.
My problem is the first game I'm trying to run. I have Ultima IV. I've installed it and am running it. I've tried both from desktop mode and added the Heroic launcher to the Non-Steam games on the main page.
I can start the game, get the graphics and sound. I start a new game, and it gets going. I can enter my name, go through the intro sequence, meet the gypsy, and then, after answering her questions ("your path is chosen") the game kicks me out.
If I restart, I can initiate a new game, but it kicks me at the same point. If I select "Journey Onward" it immediately kicks me out.
What should my next step be to get some help?
