ROr not gimbal. I know it’s “traditional” for PC joysticks, but if you have the room separate X and Y hinge points is much stronger, and what most planes actually use. And with the big motors you’re getting into actual plane forces

Pfaq should have the link to order kits or Rhino bases. Also there are plenty of ppl who have made gimbal designs I'm sure if you ask around you'll find I'm sure that can give you a hand with the design or at least point you in the right direction.

GAbout the gymball and housing, there is a page with examples for people? Because initially i tought it was more complicated but now i see is just a lack of clear info keeping people off.
GWith a few links pointing to some examples i think would benefit the community. Because this is a great product.

GI will look up some gymball designs and try to figure it out. Not much worried about the housing now. Since I have plenty of space to mount it.
GIve built some 2dof 3dof and 5dof motion platforms.

GDo you have any advice like using a specific type of belt that's more appropriate to the forces of your motor. Or anything that will save some time.
GOr if it need active cooling all the time.
WIt has auto fan control, so you can attach fans to cool the motors. Belts - HTD5M are recommended

PHey m8, though it may not look exactly right for warbirds etc. the Virpil (or VKB's) Modern Russian Style grip is really a good choice for all 'round, it has a brake lever at the bottom that can work well for British/Russian warbirds, it also has alot of HAT's buttons two dual stage triggers one that can flip up, there are only a few select aircraft that have more buttons or HAT's but they can't be bought easily except through Komodo sims & places like that, they are arguable if their worth the price.
