4028 Pin name
I tried searching but didn't see anything to my question
Doesn't this have to have an actual pin number like A19 or something? I uncommented to the corresponding line in printer.cfg to use this one.
PA8 I think is where the guide wants you to use the PWM wire right?
Klipper is giving me ashut down cause
Pin '4p_fan_part_cooling_pin' is not a valid pin name on mcu

dont share screenshots, share your printer config
I only uncommented the corresponding line. One moment.
Kind of hard to do since computer is on a lan with printer. Constantly switching networks is annoying lol
wait, it looks like the 4 pin fan is only implemented for the prusa buddy board and for the new skrat
so you need to do that manually, like the rest of us
please follow the ratos 4028 fan guide
https://os.ratrig.com/docs/guides/4028
Ok so again
Lol
In that guide, it doesn't list an actual pin number.
you dont need a pin number
Cool
So just c/p at user overrides at the bottom?
ratos uses aliases for the pins, soi we can use different boards
read and follow the instruciotns, should be all there
Lemme rephrase, the guide doesn't tell you where, does it matter where in the config it goes? I've read the guide a few times now. I try to rtfm when I can lol
now i understand, its all there
thats only for boards who has a dedicated 4 pin connector, most boards dont yet
Ah
and yes, everything in the user overrides
Got it. Thanks.
As it says in your printer.cfg this is only available on boards with dedicated 4-pin fan ports.
Like the SKRat or the Manta M8P
Those are the only two
The manta boards currently, right?
not the m4p, only the m8p
Don't think the e3ez has it either
have seen only the spider and the buddy board in todays repo
no manta
huh?
shit looks like i forgot to add it to the m8p
Will fix
