Ubisoft Connect has detected an unrecoverable error
After logging in to Ubisoft Connect it crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled Ubisoft Connect. I tried to repair the Anno 1800 Trial. All didn't work. Interestingly when I have Ubisoft Connect open (and am logged in) and start the game it closes UConnect and opens it again, but I need to log in again. And then it crashes as soon as I press "login"
I don't want to reinstall the trial version, my internet speed is abysmal.

I saw it was free on epic games, I didn't realise ubisoft launcher also had it free (they don't say that on their OWN website)
they also linked the french EGS

Once owned in epic all games are added to your ubisoft account if it is a ubi game

Verify the files, i think egs didn't download all the necessary files
You may also need to launch the exe where you installed with a given parameters
