Hi, trying to install polish subtitles to FF XV, having hard time.
Wine log attached, support will be appreciated

I suggest using something newer like Wine-GE-Proton7-41 in addition to providing a game log instead

You might want to try moving the installation folder to a path Heroic can "see" by default (

it's a steam deck
It looks like they've added the installer as a sideloaded game, which sure is strange, but I was assuming that that was intended

Right, this may already be your issue. If you want to run an executable in the same prefix as the game, use "Run EXE in prefix" in the game settings

Given that this is Final Fantasy XV, which isn’t available on Epic or GOG, I’m going to bow out of the conversation for the obvious reasons

but this installer requires dotnet4, while on FF XV prefix I am unable to install it
as it's 64 bit
and dotnet fails to install
at the moment idea in my head is to run installer to see it's window on standalone prefix

Yes I owe legal copy of FF XV on Steam, HOWEVER, this is a log of the run of executable with polish subtitles

If the installer does anything more than editing game data files, this won’t work for you when it’s time to run the game

I've managed to install dotnet4
I've managed to run installer against my installation of FF XV
original game does not run anymore though
But I assume it's not your concern, anyway, thank you for your good will to help
