steam deck install to SD card

Hi all, I'm on steam deck, and since my internal memory is only 64GB I thought I'd install my heroic/gog/epic games to my SD card. being a linux user, i found my sd card mount point and set it as my default install location, but the setting doesn't seem to actually control the install location at all.

I'm on Heroic v2.6.2

log attached, hopefully

I could work around this using a symlink, any thoughts on whether that is viable/better than using the mount point?

I think that's a known bug in Heroic 2.6.2 and should be fixed in the next version 2.7, you have to manually change the path for every installation for now

you can get an appimage from there, but settings will be elsewhere from your flatpak settings

there's also a flathub beta repo that can sometimes have newer beta builds of Heroic
