v-minion rattling noise

I just realize watching other people’s videos that my v-minion makes an awful amount of noise, especially a rattling one when homing or mesh calibrating. This is a stock full kit, it’s greased with NLGI-2 lithium grease, there seems not to be any loose screws on the eva (pressed them to test), prints are good so it seems well calibrated… I didn’t use any alignment jig but rails seem to be decently aligned. Oh and I’ve enabled the performance steppers settings. What is going on?

print faster every stepper profile has a goldi lock zone where it isnbt so loud depending on the profile you choosed you need to find this zone jsut try to print a bit faster

I'm printing at 200mm/s, except first layer on PLA which is set lower -- but the problem I'm seeing is the noise when homing & mesh-leveling

change the homeing speed then

I'm nowhere near the smoothness I see in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQMcs3vpjSo

[bed_mesh] speed: 300 [z_tilt] speed: 300 [printer] max_z_velocity: 35 play with these values

okay, I'll try to increase all speeds (by order of magnitude, I see)

dont try this at first try you need to do this step by step

config by config, or you mean increase each speed incrementally?

you need also a cooling solution that can handle these speeds and the extruder, hotend, .....

no problem, start slowly, the speed comes by its own

I think I've printed at 300mm/s nicely alright, after quite some testing I've boiled it down to
max_z_velocity: 20

[bed_mesh]
speed: 300
probe_count: 5, 3

[probe]
speed: 20
lift_speed: 20.0
sample_retract_dist: 1

[stepper_x]

quite an improvement in noise and speed also, the 5015 blower fan is the source of rattling -- can't wait to get my delta 4028 I ordered to RR I did put some masking tape on the joint with the duct but still
