GE-Proton randomly stops working for a few versions on Non-Steam stuff

hmmm maybe it's not compatible? check this issue in the legendary repo https://github.com/derrod/legendary/issues/88#issuecomment-683312521, from what I understand (can could be completely wrong here though) is that the game is looking for a
coocked shader cache file for your card/platform/graphicsapi and it can't find itGitHub

oh it was free? I might have it then too xD EDIT: yes I do, I'll try it too
from my tests on desktop it does not require anything, it should work out of the box, I'm installing it on the deck now
hmmm it worked just fine for me on the deck too
and I can confirm I do NOT have that GlobalSharedCache bin file from the error message
I have showfps turned off, esync off, the
target exe setting is blank, and I'm using Wine-GE-Proton7-41
the other difference (not sure if it's relevant) is that I have that installed in the built in storage, not an external SD carddeep-jade•3y ago
Maybe just deleting the prefix could be enough
just installed this on my Deck. it runs out of the box with Wine-GE-Proton7-41

But not on the deck tried sd and storages

what do you mean by the game installed inside the prefix?
the only difference I see is we both installed the game in the internal drive and you have that in an external SD card, right?
not sure if that can be a problem or not

Well i tried again with the game installed on the internal storage, then via lutris, same bug
Other games seems to work fine
Except metro who appear shrunken
Like the resolution was inverted
Maybe it's what's crashing vampyr as well
Do not have a clue
Reseted heroic setting, still no good
Tried installing wine ge through protonup Qt
Still no good

vampyr for me had the resolution inverted but it didn't crash, and I fixed that in the settings

First time i tried this game on steam deck it was working fine with just proton. If it is a wine prefix issue with

Ok ! It's fixed, to be more useable I activated global scaling on my deck
And I seems to break vampyr
Well i managed to launch it once
