I’ll download the software but been out of town for a couple weeks and will continue to be for another week or so. So was just curious while I’m on the road and can’t do anything anyway
Nice. I currently have a cm3 with long extention on a center desk mount. I’ll probably have to use a shorter extension or not one at all with the vp I’m guessing.
Unless I'm missing something that is about the gcode it uses to slice/print from, x3g. The gcode you adjust for pid tuning is in the printer's firmware, which I gather is some variant of Sailfish on Flashforge machines. That's where the adjustments to steps/mm are made, not the slicer. Can a Flashforge printer hook up to a computer via USB? If so can't one just use Pronterface or Octoprint to access Sailfish to tweak pid like any other printer's firmware?
I seen it next to a cm3 and it seemed considerably taller, and with the cm3 and 200mm extension it’s on the border of too tall already my chair won’t go up any higher. Next house I’m building a proper sim pit
I asked in their discord what ffb effects the f15e will come with, they didn't even know if it was fbw or not, then suggested I should do the research for them & report it back, f**king dipshits tbh. Luckily we have Walmis & his awesome DCS Telem app for the Rhino.
Speaking of ffb effects, C130 devs sounded willing to implement em, but not unless they had actual ffb to test em with and it also didnt sound like they wanted to actually buy ffb themselves
cause you only care about doing it for the money & could give two shits about anything else, I guarantee if FFB sticks were still a main stream thing they would care then cause it could affect on their $$, but if it's only a small group of ppl that use ffb, well then f*ck us I guess
