Trouble with languages
Hello,
I try to play my game in French but it's seem impossible in the gaming mode.
I install 5 games (3 Lego batman + batman arkham + evoland) all from heroic/epic.
I set heroic in French, global language in French and I set the game specific language to French. (fr)
When I'm in desktop mode and launch them I got the game in French but trouble came when I go back in gaming mode because the game launch in English...
My desktop and gaming are in French.
I don't know if I need to put log but if it needed just ask me I will do it 🫡

I've heard of this happening, seems like the steam deck overrides some environment variables when on gaming mode, I think there's nothing we can do from the Heroic side (it works fine in desktop mode), it's something to report to steam I think, but I doubt they'll prioritize something that affect a third party launcher I'm afraid

maybe you can compare the environment variables in desktop mode and in gaming mode and then set them in heroic's settings?
I imagine the env in the command will then override the global envs

I don't really know, look for env variables mentioning your language, then set those same variables in the game settings
each game can do whatever they want to detect the language, there's no one-size-fits-all answer on what to change
and I'm not sure if it will even work, just an idea, I haven't tried it

I think that if you run printenv when in gaming mode you'll have most of them unset or set to something else, so I imagine setting them in the game settings will have priority

So I should add the konsole as non steam game or there are another possibility to run command ?

not sure about that, sorry, I think someone did that once, adding konsole as a non-steam game
though I would just go to the game settings in heroic and add all the env variables that you see in desktop mode with the right value and just try it out in gaming mode
do that for at least one game and try it out, because as of now it has to be done one by one
