Questions about languages and Howlongtobeat
Hi !
I have two questions. I'm using Heroic 2.16.1 on Linux (Ubuntu 24, installed via the .deb package, not apt).
- I've set Heroic in French, and it's working fine. Except when I go on a game, the description is not in French but in English .. And sometimes it seems the description is in French and switch back in English the second after ...
- Then .. How can I see Howlongtobeat ? I can't find any viable informations about it, except an issue on Github but I don't know if it's still relevant ..
- And bonus question, or maybe it can be seen as a suggestion ..
It could be great to add achievements (there are for Epic, Steam, Gog, etc...) !

Achievements: there's already support for Epic and GOG. For Epic, enable the EOS Overlay. For GOG, enable Comet.

to clarify, the support of achievements does NOT mean showing the achievements in heroic's UI
for Epic games you can see the achievements in the EOS overlay when you are running a particular game, for GOG currently you need comet to enable achievements but there's no overlay to see them within heroic, you can only see them in gog's website

Ok I was actually thinking of displaying them in Heroic. I don't know if there is a possibility or not.. I will take a look at the source code to see by myself.
I'm also looking for the description translation but sometimes it's working, sometimes it's not ...
I don't really understand for HLTB, it's only a change in their API ? Or it's more complicated ?

If I understand it correctly it's a change in the API but one that's not easy to get working in heroic again

I don't think there's a way to show achievements in the Heroic's UI, or you'll have to figure out endpoints to get that information from their servers
about HLTB, it's not just that they changed their API, I understand that, if they do provide an API for what we need, it would be a paid thing and not free
