Klipper not running after V-Core-3 config is installed

My printer has been running great for a couple of months, but something has gone wrong. I keep getting an error message now, "mcu 'mcu': Unable to connect" and, "Error configuring printer." These started a couple of days ago and I have been unable to rectify the issue. I have reflashed the MCU (BTT Octopus v1.1) and reflashed Klipper. I went through setting up the rPi a couple of times and it works until a certain point. I am able to get klipper running and go through the RatOS update step, but when I go to the next step where you select the printer config file you need and download that, I suddenly start getting the MCU error. I went through the printer.config file and it is set up to match my set up. Firmware restart results in the same error. Any help to get it back up and running would be greatly appreciated. I have been trying for entirely too many hours to no avail.

in the klippy log I came accross a line that may be relavent, but I don't know why this isnt working -- mcu 'mcu': Starting serial connect mcu 'mcu': Unable to open serial port: [Errno 2] could not open port /dev/btt-octopus-11: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/btt-octopus-11'

Either the wrong firmware is on the octopus or the connection between the octopus and the pi is bad. Did you change the USB connection?

I swapped the usb connection around on the Pi since it has 4, and tried a different cable. The MCU does recieve at least power from the Pi when they are connected

Take a picture of the wiring and upload your printer.cfg

Ok, this will take me a few minutes. When i was moving the wires around for a clear picture I found my problem. It has a name. I guess my cat has a taste for wires as well as trying to steal loose bits of filament now. Lol, that took me days to find and I only found it when I tried to move the cables for a picture.
