RatRig v-core 3.1 SuperPinda Always Triggered

Just finishing v-core 3.1 500 build and the SuperPinda is always reading as Triggered with the recommended configuration of "pin: ^probe_pin # For NPN NC probes such as the Super Pinda / Vinda / SupCR / Decoprobe probes.". Tried inverting the config with pin: ^!probe_pin which switched it to always open, but it does not trigger when the probe is brought close (/touching) the bed. The probe came with the ratrig kit, and has slightly different color wires (a black instead of grey plus the brown and blue wires) than shown on the ratrig configuration picture for the BigTreeTech Octopus Pro. I have them wired as black as pin 1, blue as pin 2 and brown as pin 4f on the diagram. I am not sure if this is a) a wiring problem, b) a configuration problem or c) a broken super pinda. Does anyone have hints on troubleshooting this?

Does the led on the probe react if you touch metal ?

I had a similar issue. Turned out I got a 24v inductive probe instead of a 5v one. But as you got it directly from ratrig that might be unlikely. But still I would check the data sheet of that specific probe

That is the wrong header my dude Please look closely at the wiring diagram (the real header is closer to the edge of the board). Hopefully your probe is not damaged Not the same board

@miklschmidt - thanks, it's probably my big pieces of green tape on the other wires covering up the right spot. And yes, I hope the probe is not damaged (If it is, I have a spare Prusa superpinda somewhere in the shop I can probably use). Thanks Again Yup, it was plugged into the wrong place, I think it happened when I got to the part of the instructions that said I should unplug everything before I flashed the board. I was apparently not as careful plugging things back in (I also had the right and rear z motors swapped). All is good now, the SuperPinda is working fine.
