H87nu-H (hotswap) PCB support

i tried to flash .bin file included on https://geon.works/pages/pcb-hex-json for the H87nu Hotswap using QMK toolbox. after flashing, the PCB isn't recognized by VIA and returns the following error: "Fetching v2 definition failed" i found an updated hineybush_h87_g2_via.bin at https://www.caniusevia.com/docs/download_firmware, but when i use this version VIA recognizes this as a different keyboard? not sure if this is something related to the issues: https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/pull/20388 happy to provide more details - still rather new to all of this
