tried multiple versions of Wine and Proton no luck
tried destop mode and steam os mode no luck

two things:
1. use Wine-GE instead of Proton. delete the prefix before switching
2. install
mfc140.dll with Winetricksother-emeraldOP•3y ago
deleted the wine prefix but now winetricks wont come up

you may need to attempt to run the game again so the prefix is rebuilt, if it doesn't rebuild it automatically when trying to run winetricks

show screenshots and an updated log so that I can see if Heroic properly is attempting to run with Wine-GE

that looks like it either cannot invoke
mkdir or it has a problem finding some other file. maybe try restarting the Heroic app. that's not anywhere near your first issue
or maybe run mkdir -p "/home/deck/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition" manually in Konsoleother-emeraldOP•3y ago

wrong version of Wine-GE. I should've specified Wine-GE-Proton7-43. -LoL is for League of Legends
there's a good chance you'll need to delete it again

Do you have dxvk and vk3d3 on in settings? If not turn em on

always click install when that option comes up. mono is for .net stuff
