Heroic can't find covers for manually added games.
When I try to add manually installed games to heroic it cant seem to find any covers for some reason. As soon as i finish typing in the games name the cover just goes black and white and stops me from clicking finish.

I think this is a known issue that was reported on github already, I'm not sure if someone is working on a fix for that
you can try using Heroic 2.6.2

Yup I can confirm I am having the exact same issue, and the log file is not really much help either

1) You can just paste a URL of an image that you got online
2) The API to get the covers stopped working
3) we fixed it on heroic by adding a timeout when getting the image.
4) @timo feel free to use whatever launcher you like and attend your needs, no need to
i guess ill go back to lutris if noone is helping me since both launchers are free to use and we do not earn anything having more users. Rushing for help is the worst way of asking for help, be polite and eventually you will get the help you need 👍flat-fuchsia•3y ago
yeah it's not really that much of a big deal just wanted to confirm it was a known bug so that I would not make some duplicate issue
ah the issue on my end it does not connect to the api at all
