Bulk upload issues
Hello,
My setup is running Immich through a docker applet on Truenas SCALE via truecharts. I have followed the guidelines from https://documentation.immich.app/docs/features/bulk-upload to try and upload a library of photos I have stored on the same machine. Regardless of which internal docker network I choose, the command results in an error: "Error connecting to server - check server address and port". It is also worth mentioning that I am running Immich behind a reverse proxy in order to access the server through a custom domain. If anyone has guidance regarding this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
Bulk Upload (Using the CLI) | Immich
You can use the CLI to upload an existing gallery to the Immich server

Another note: I do not have ports exposed, so I cannot access the Immich server internally without going through port 80/443 through the reverse proxy
truecharts is a few version behind
I see. Does this prevent bulk upload from working properly?
I believe so
Is there an alternative to uploading a large file structure to immich without bulk upload?
Not really. I recommend finding a way to upgrade your instance (or waiting for truecharts to get back to it)
Thanks for the input. It's a shame that there isn't a more robust method to upload many files, but it is what it is
Immich is still under heavy development, so we change the api occasionally
Yeah that makes sense, it's all in the name of progress. I'm excited to see what Immich will become
