Issues logging into Epic via Heroic Games launcher on Steam Deck
I've been having issues logging into epic games via the heroic launcher, on my Steam Deck. I've been using it just fine for months on end without issue and then the day before yesterday I got logged out and can't log back in. I keep getting this error after the captcha asks me to pick out the drones or scooters or lighthouses... I know my username and password are correct because I'm able to log in via browsers just fine. It's just logging in through heroic that's giving me this issue. Any help with this issue is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Epic's been making it harder. I go through like 4 captcha attempts just from using the store in a web browser just to claim the freebies

That's the thing. I've tried the alternative login method as well, many times. But it just takes me to a white page that displays this.

I know with the heroic game launcher, cloud saves aren't available and there's a game that I've put several hours of progress into. Does anyone know if I uninstall/reinstall if my game data will be lost?

Okay but that's the thing @Linguin - so I copy the link it provides me and put it into my browser (chrome).
It successfully takes me to the log in page. I click to log in via my epic games account. It takes me to the page where I can enter my credentials. I type in my username/password. hit enter. And then this is all that comes up. (attached image).
The thing is I actually even ended up downloading heroic games on my windows PC, and tried on there. I'm getting the exact same errors on both. I've tried incognito mode, alternate browsers. Nothing is letting me log back in.

And again, I know my username/password is fine because I've logged in via browser and via the epic games store without issue. It's only when I go through heroic that I get the problem.

also you probably should blur the authorization code
so that somebody else doesn't hijack your account

The captcha problem is also fixed in upstream and will be included in the next release

Even though 2.7.1 mentions that it's fixed, I still can't login normally. The alternate method works for the base features, but not for the store page itself, so I'll have to do any store things within a browser.

Has anybody found a workaround for this? I've been unable to login to Epic for the last week, and using my browser to login doesn't work either.
