Could I get red dead redempiton 2 working on the steam deck if i own it on the epic games store and use heroic?

it should work out of the box (it takes some steps the first time, like you have to login, close and open 2 times I think so it's all setup, then it just works)

i got into to the game but the loading part takes around 6min and runs at 1-2 FPS even when i could start playing i cant bcs of the fps count, does anyone know how to fix it? i saw people play normally around 30-40 FPS but still i cant get past 1-2 FPS
using proton GE latest and lowest settings in rdr2

Use Add game to Steam feature of Heroic and run it from there
I mean from game mode
And check if your gpu/cpu clock is stuck at something absymally low or not

i played it from gaming mode
my gpu/cpu clock wasnt locked at anything so idk? also when loading the game my CPU usage was like 99% and GPU only about 15%
