The Beast Inside via GOG on Steam Deck
Hello, I've installed The Beast Inside (redeemed via GOG) with Heroic. After launching, all I get is a black screen.
The game should work if launching via Steam instead of GOG+Heroic.
Tried these things that doesn't work:
- Different proton versions
- I tried adding the Beast Inside .exe as a Non Steam Game but launching it does nothing
Any suggestions?

you probably need to install redistributables found in

You can probably get by without the DirectX ones, but it looks like
I just got this running with wine-ge-proton7-43, no tweaks or vcrun needed
don't use Proton

Hmm I can't seem to click on new game tho. Were you able to?
Ah! I started it via desktop. But via Steam library, it works!
