I downloaded and install Epic Games free Fallout New Vegas, and it will not start...
I cannot seem to paste, the Report Log, from the help message, when the game would not launch...

K I changed my Wine/Proton, and the Game Menu Launches but when I click on Play, the Menu disappears like it is going to start, but in the Heroic Games launch, the Fallout New Vegas, tile says playing from about 10 seconds then the Phrase "Playing" disappears, and the Game Never actually Launches...

I read the other Discussion, and tried all the suggestion etc. nothing works, I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall, and I get this error: An error has occurred! Try to Logout and Login on your Epic account.

I just discovered it was installing in the Back Ground despite this error... I will see if this install alleviates the issue...

yeah, that error is a false negative, heroic catches it and re-runs the installation with more memory, for some reason that error is showing up when it shouldn't but you can safely ignore it
in the download manager it will show like it's stuck, but it's actually installing (it's a known bug in 2.7.1 that will be fixed in the next 2.7.2 release, the progress is incorrect in the ui but it's installing)
