In the game settings page, there's a winetricks button, press that and install components -> Visual C++ runtime (install the 2022 ver first, and go down if it still fails).

I can't find the winetricks button on mac, where is it supposed to be?
Ah shoot it's not for mac, I guess I cant install Ubisoft Connect

Ubisoft connect does not work on Mac, it needs a wine fix that it's only on proton/wine-ge and it's not in crossover
at least last time I tried (last year ubisoft did something that broke it on wine, then the proton team made a fix)

sorry, you need to cancel and then install a windows dll or component, then choose the 2000-2015 runtimes (that's a guess, if it doesn't work, you may need newer or older runtimes)

The only issue is that my game card doesn’t have a cover photo in gaming mode, only in desktop mode after adding one.
