[Steam Deck] Anyone can help?
Basically I'm trying to get a couple games working from the heroic game launcher, some work some don't, the one i'm tryna get working right now just crashes on launch, any assistance on that, also I have no idea if this is of any use to anyone here but I got a log file:

Crashes basically on launch ^ I can interact (sometimes) with the main menu though seconds before it crashes

First, that is an old version of Heroic. You should upgrade. Second, you should include the title of the problematic game in the thread topic, to aid searching and so that people with experience with the game can see more easily where they might help.

Ah yes sorry I did update heroic i havent touched my steam deck in a bit, yet it still does occur
also its some random obscure game i'm sure not many people will know about but it should be playable considering it works on the steam version for steam deck

Consider that you may still be using an old version of Proton there. You should upgrade that as well. And you may want to try Wine instead.

Damn still doesn't work though sadly so idk whats up with that, is it possible a game from the steam store can run perfectly fine but from something like epic games it just be completely incompatible with steam deck?

Yes, quite possible.
Can you send a fresh log? You'll find it at the bottom of the game's page: "Report a problem..."

Ah. Epic thing. There's a checkbox in the Heroic game settings.
In the Advanced section, I think.

Oh wait hell yea that worked lmao, I just launched it on my pc to get that popup, now it works on the deck, thanks for the eos help though and wine stuff
