Steam Deck SDK error

I have God of War Ragnarok on epic games and just got a steam deck. After installing Ragnarok using heroic I keep getting the attached error message. I've tried to use AI and Google to my advantage but I keep failing. Please help!! 🆘-support #gow

I don’t know if this can be worked around in Epic build of God Of War, but you can try settting
SteamDeck=1 environment variable in game settings

I think sony only disabled the sdk on steam deck on steam itself

I guess if you are in into cloud streaming you can still play the game on Nvidias Geforce now
(I don’t know if that game is supported though)

Did they seriously publish a different binary on epic missing the deck patch.
That's MORE WORK THAN JUST HAVING ONE BINARY FOR BOTH

most games will have different builds for the different stores, you need to use the store's SDK, it's harder to use one build for both
