Apollo 88H-T-SC PCB on VIA Dekstop App and RGB
Hello anyone know why my Apollo 88H-T-SC PCB is not detected on VIA desktop app but detected on web app?
And how do i configure RGB using VIA? By default it's already set, but i can't remap it since there are no RGB configuration on VIA for this PCB.
Please help π

i cant remember if its because they stopped supporting the desktop app or if it just gets updated slower, but web is the way to go
remap in keymap > lighting
Yeah but i cant find RGB toggle and etc in via web app
you can manually map the rgb keys using the Via "any" key and the qmk rgb keycodes: https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/blob/master/docs/keycodes.md#rgb-lighting-idrgb-lighting
this should allow the button to work even thoug it does not show up in the lighting UI
found out more info, turns out with the newest version of the firmware for this pcb the lighting tab shows up fine, you can download it for flashing here https://discord.com/channels/743801649377574924/811452141570752523/1114928079207403580
When the stock Apollo firmware shipped, VIA did not support PKRGB controls
The #apollo87h-project contains a patch issued after VIA started supporting it
hello.. sorry but how to patch the pcb? is it mean re-flashing it?
all i know is just upload the json file on design tab. but i've tried the json file that uploaded on April 24 but i think nothing has change
i think there's a youtube video demonstrate how the new lightning tab works but is it only on Apollo 87?
You need to reflash yes
