steam deck heroic laucnher takes forever to load

i installed heroic launcher from steam deck discover store and when i launch it says retrying on top of the site for few minutes when i try to log in to epic games it takes a while for the website to load and when i try lo log in it says network error my steam deck is up to date and my wifi works fine
