How can I use my Xbox 360 controller in games on Heroic?
Hey, I own a really old Xbox 360 controller that I decided to take out of the shelf to play some games. I tried with Life is Strange that I downloaded from Steam yesterday, it still works like a charm but when I tried it on Rocket League this morning, it didn't recognize the device. I checked the game's settings but no luck. Any ideas?

Problems of this nature on macOS (with various games, but also Rocket League specifically e.g. https://discord.com/channels/812703221789097985/1081446996575014962/1081446996575014962 ) have been reported before, but it doesn't look like there are any known solutions.

You may want to search here for controller problems generally and see if any proposed solutions for Linux also work in macOS as well.

some of these issues can be rooted in games not properly handling some control types. for example, some non-Steam games on Windows don't play nice with a PS controller.
