Filament asset not found in Nginx

nginx is a reverse proxy and hence works different.

Do this in your conf

location ^~ /filament {
try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$query_string;
}

It will work.

Did you publish the assets?

Also please check the nginx.conf in your server if it has the above. You may have to restart nginx after you make the change.

I am not sure why it would be an NGinx issue. Valet is based on nginx and serves fine. If you have a Mac I would advise using Valet to test it.

So are you sure it’s not just because you are using NextJS with Filament? I’m not sure if they would pair well at all…

In case of nginx, the default nginx configuration will not load static resources of Filament by default. You must modify the configuration as stated in the trick above. But if you're nginx is configured correctly, it should work fine. I faced the same issue at first but it was due to nginx configuration.

@kamalhosen Just also wanted to mention that PHP Non-Thread Safe is recommended when using Nginx. I don't know what you are using, and probably wouldn't be the issue but just thought I should mention it.

Yes that is why I mentioned earlier that I do not think they would work well together. NextJS is React. React would probably not work well with Filament. They are not meant to be used together.

I would recommend setting up your filament / laravel app on a subdomain and let your next app run on the root domain.
