Klipper Can’t Connect To Moonraker

I have been fighting this setup for days and can’t get it working. It says klipper can’t connect, and when I do I get an mcu error. But then when I restart the firmware it just goes back to klipper can’t connect. I feel like I’ve tried everything.

1) how did you confirm the firmware was correctly flashed? 2) after flashing the firmware, did you edit the printer.cfg file to match your setup? If so, please upload your printer.cfg

I pulled the sd card out and the file became firmware.cur. Also, the setup page said it was conected properly. I attached my printer config. Thank you

I have the BTT octopus v1.1

Ok, your config looks fine. Can you go to the configurator and show what it says when trying to connect to the board?

Please update RatOS in the machine tab of mainsail and try to flash using the "Manual DFU" button in the configurator when you select the octopus.

I try to flash it via dfu but it just comes back to the “detected but unresponsive” I’ve tried a few times now and still that page. Any ideas?

And just to be sure I have the board powered by the 24v lines, connected to the pi, and I have the dfu jumper and the other jumper in the middle ish of the board in

After this you proceed to the next step (assume the configurator part finished). So go to ratos.local/ install your config and configure printer.cfg. Take both of those jumpers out, your board is flashed and ready to be used. (i hoped you read that thread, it explains that the issue is with klipper not compiling it's c_helper.so and thus needs a little nudge)

Got it, I will take the jumpers out and see if it works. I already have mainsail setup with my printer config. So in theory it should work and it will now recognize klipper in mainsail? The jumpers are in, but mainsail still says that moonraker can't connect to klipper. I will remove jumpers, but if those wont fix this let me know Got it working, thank you!!!!
