The Escapists error

I'm trying to load up the game on My Linux Mint Machine and it doesn't work it'll load but then crash , here's the text from the Launcher

for me the escapist works only the first time when a prefix is created like... you delete the prefix folder > run the game > doesn't crash > close the game > open again > it crashes and I can reproduce that consistently with any wine/proton

the escapist is known to just crash there at the start, it's something really new that is working in some cases, for the last 3 years it was always crashing for everyone I don't think it's a bug, I suspect that it uses something that is not properly supported by wine/proton that only works fine in specific scenarios

Works fine for me I feel like it could be some bug with x11 or mesa or something That recently got fixed So older distros have issues or something

Older distro is Ubuntu lts based or debian 12 23.04 is new enough I think And debian stable is always old

Yeah that's why I don't use Debain at all, I know Linux Mint is based of Ubuntu Jammy Jelly Fish 22.04.2
