Fallguys choppy and nearly unplayable
like it says in the header the game is really slow and nearly unplayable. It was running really good on my laptop (Nvidia GTX 960M 2GB VRAM, 8GB RAM). I'm using NobaraOS (Fedora based distro)

It looks like the game is using the Intel integrated GPU rather than the Nvidia GPU. There's a setting you can change in Heroic's options for that.

I have 2 GB VRAM
before I had this problem...I could run it at medium settings. 1080p and hat 110fps max and the really rare drops to 60fps
but now I have 16fps max on low preset
high preset gave me 80fps-60fps

I activated the dedicated graphic card setting and also did it in the heroic settings
I even launched heroic using the dedicated graphic card...still nothing changed
I tried reverting to a later proton (8-7 GE) where it worked but still nothing changed

Disable esync and fsync
Maybe that changes something
Also with wine-ge you can provide better game logs. Proton ist made for steam only. Use it only if it works or if you know how to handle problems with proton

it's a nobora os program which downloads and installs this wine version
it's called "proton-up-qt" or something like that

Yes i can see that it uses the intel graphic card
Maybe your pretty new kernel has problems with nvidia Prime?
Alot of people reporting problems with nvidia driver and kernel 6.3. Sometimes stable kernels are better than edge kernels
Btw also check If your nvidia driver are Up to date

The problem is somewhere with nvidia prime. I would Noet say that this is a heroic problem. It is more a problem of wine and nvidia prime

Idk about the specifics but League of Legends on Lutris runs the same as it did before
sure I also had to tinker quite a bit with the settings and one update deleted my gpu drivers but in the end everything works...well at least for now

Shoot in the dark. Fall Guys releases an update that broke something. Fall Guys ist actually an edge case Game because of anti cheat. Checkout other support post. There are quite alot for fall guys
And Fall Guys ist not in steam. All ganes available in steam mostly runs fine in heroic aswell (90%). Still would always suggest to buy Games in steam
