Invariant: failed to start render worker Error: getaddrinfo EAI_AGAIN
Hey guys. I rebooted my docker config, and my linux machine last night, and was met with this inside the homarr logging:
attempting to change the network from host to bridge, does nothing and only gives me a 400 status in Portainer.. Idk if bug or something that "happened", but just tagged as bug since there wasn't any other close options..

Hi, please do not post duplicate questions.
There are already plenty posts about this here and on GitHub.
It is a known issue and we're currently not able to fix it.
We've experimented with multiple ideas, but nothing worked so far.
Consider to use a different network mode please 🙂
ah crap, apologies. I'll dig for the posts that I can read up on. I did try an initial search prior to posting. .
Just to show, mine was the only result..
Search for EAI_AGAIN

Discord search being funky...
Thank you.
So is it absolutely broken to the point there is no way you can use homarr anymore ?
I’m getting really annoyed at this because it doesn’t happen to us, we don’t have a clear way to pin the error down
@ionv3n0m maybe you can explain to me your setup and I’ll try to replicate it.
This error is really difficult to fix because we don’t know what causes it and we can’t replicate it
Yes, absolutely broken as far as I understand
Like can’t even reinstall broken as I’ve heard
Build Docker locally and use bridge network mode
Did we try to downgrade node version? @manicraft1001
I’ll try when I get home
No, only upgrade so far
Sure, give it a shot with Node 16
I'm trying to fix this
Trying to replicate, will move to #💻・development now
@ionv3n0m can you try with the dev image ?
@ajnart my configuration isn't anything special. Just a basic docker config, with portainer UI, hosted on the filesystem partition. When I initially deployed, I did it via docker CLI.
I'll give the dev image a go, sure 🙂
@ionv3n0m thanks
@ajnart I can only find pull ghcr.io/ajnart/homarr:latest on the homarr.dev docs, is there another spot that links the dev build?
Try :dev at the end instead of
Latest
Sorry for omitting that info
np, trying now.
Thanks 😄 hope it’s fixed
THERE WE GO, accidentally put my info from my browser lol. .. but we're operational;. Listening on :7575 with no issues.
So. It's a newer node.js issue?
Nice ! 😄
Nope, nextjs issue. Apparently they fucked something up. No clue why/how and were not the only one facing this issue. I just rolled back to an earlier version
ah gotcha. Happy to help, I normally troubleshoot stuff all day so, hopefully the right information was good from the start.
now to go pick brains over at sonarr... and see what they say.
