3gb RAM, trying to get as much performance without affecting farm performance (as much as possible)

I'm planning to rent a 3gb server from Sparked Host but I'm not sure if there is gonna be any lag. I only plan to play with less than 10 people. Does anyone have suggestions on how to tackle this? Thank you!
