CSS intersection observer?
My, how things have changed over the years.
Im trying to remember if there was a CSS native way of doing what intersection observer does? Without any complexity. Merely detect when an element scrolls into position. The closest I could find is scroll snap but not sure.....

I do not believe so, pretty much have to use JS for something like that now
scroll based animations are in development, but aren't ready for production yet
I had a faint memory you had mentioned something like that a while ago.
